We have created this blog targeted to children from eight to ten years old in order to teach them about the five senses by playing. Our main objective is to develop their ability to feel things and improve their capacity of creativity. However, we will also try to work on the four teaching skills which are reading, listening, writing and speaking. At the end of the six lessons, pupils will have learned new vocabulary so they will be able to express themselves in different ways (speaking or writing) and understand a text or an oral conversation about the senses. We also hope that the children will have a lot of fun during those activities and that the teacher will also enjoy seeing their pupil’s amazement!
Creating this blog, we have learned about the five senses, but also the different ways to teach it. The theory is obviously necessary but in our opinion the practice is better adapted to this kind of topic. Creativity, originality and dynamic help the children to memorize easily and in a funny way. We also think that new technology can be useful in our future job. The blogs are an interesting way to share information, you can propose your idea and learn a lot with the ideas of other people.
